Admin Assistants and Teaching Assistants – UAE Nationals Only

This position is for Emirati UAE Nationals Only. Candidates must hold a UAE Passport and Family Book.

GEMS World Academy is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated UAE Nationals to come and work at our Flagship School, effective immediately.

This would be a full time position working Monday – Friday (7:30am-4.0pm Mon-Thur & 7:30am-12:15pm Fri)

Teaching Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and resource organization
• Support students in understanding and completing classroom activities under the teacher’s guidance
• Help maintain an organized, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Assist in managing student behavior in line with school policies
• Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed to reinforce learning
• Prepare and distribute classroom materials and resources as directed by the teacher

 Admin Assistant Job Responsibilities:

•  Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling and 
• Assist in maintaining and updating databases and student records 
• Support coordination of school events, meetings, and activities.
• Greet and assist visitors, parents, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Handle inquiries via phone and email, ensuring a prompt and accurate response.

 Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree or High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Strong communication skills with excellent standard of written and spoken English. ICT skills desirable. Able to handle a range of tasks, work under pressure and relate well to children and colleagues.
