We are seeking a visionary Data Manager with a proven track record in leading data management initiatives, driving the effective use of data to improve student outcomes, and supporting the school in making data-driven decisions that enhance learning and teaching.

Skills
Data Management and Integrity:
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all student data, from assessment results to progress tracking. Implement and maintain effective systems for storing, managing, and processing data across a variety of platforms.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Produce detailed, actionable reports on student performance and progress, both at individual and cohort levels. Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making in academic planning, student support, and curriculum development.
Support School Leadership: Provide data analysis support to school leadership, enabling the identification of trends, strengths, and areas for improvement. Assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders, including KHDA inspections, accreditation processes, and parental communication.
Collaboration with Academic Teams: Work closely with subject leaders, teachers and other stakeholders to ensure data is effectively used to inform teaching and student support. Offer training and guidance on data analysis techniques and the use of data to enhance instructional practices.
Assessment Tracking Systems: Develop and manage systems to track student performance across a range of assessments, ensuring data is timely, accurate and easily accessible. Implement systems to monitor and track individual student progress, providing support to teachers and leaders as required.
Data-Driven Improvement Initiatives: Lead data-driven initiatives to improve academic achievement and student outcomes, including identifying gaps in learning and suggesting interventions. Support the design and implementation of targeted action plans based on data insights.
Compliance and Security: Ensure that all data management practices are compliant with local regulations, including data protection laws. Maintain confidentiality and security of student data at all times.
Professional Development and Training: Stay up to date with best practices in data management and assessment technologies. Provide ongoing professional development for staff in the effective use of data, assessments, and reporting systems.
Candidates should hold:
- 3 years of analytical experience
- Knowledge and experience of using SIMS and/or similar school software packages
- Experience with GL Assessments or similar standardised testing platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, spreadsheet development/creation and data management systems.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
