Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive School Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s technical systems, providing support for various school activities, and maintaining a safe and efficient learning environment.

Skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot technical equipment and systems across the school.
  • Set up and support technical requirements for school events, assemblies, and presentations.
  • Provide assistance with the installation and maintenance of multimedia equipment and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure the effective use of technical tools and resources in classrooms.
  • Manage and maintain the inventory of technical and electronic equipment.
  • Support IT and facility management teams with technical tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, IT, or engineering).
  • Hands-on experience with technical maintenance, including audio-visual (AV) equipment, projectors, sound systems, and basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with staff and vendors.
  • Flexibility to support occasional after-hours school events.
